![]() ![]() Follow this pattern three times to teach the creepy mascot a lesson. Don’t worry about aiming - the reef blower always auto-locks onto a target, if that wasn’t clear from the more chaotic situations before this moment. Once it does, suck up enemies that show up, grab the nearest trampoline, and shoot the goo back at Glovey. He’ll first shoot off some projectiles your way, so dodge those and wait for a reef blower to spawn. Glovey’s battle can be split into three phases, but the only thing that really changes is the shape of the arena. Time to take down this single white Glove. Board surf and avoid the rotating pillars to make it to the ferris wheel, which you just need to climb onto one platform and wait until it reaches its peak, then karate kick a balloon and bounce up to the final area. There’s also still lots of things here trying to kill you, so defeat them all in order to get a bubble board to appear to take you to the next area. There’s also the easiest Spot’s Hiding Spot in the game to find in the theater area. Now you’re here on Main Street, which has two more games for you to play for doubloons. You can also absorb some of the jelly that the squid shoots at you, but you can’t absorb the scatter shot thing it does (like what shooter jellies do). Do this a couple of times to defeat it and open up the way to keep going. Rev up that reef blower and suck up everything you can in the jail, then shoot it at the new squid jelly enemy. Hold the speak button to drop it and fall into the Glove World Jail. Pick up and learn perhaps the most broken mechanic in this game, the reef blower! Try it out by absorbing everything in the area, though be careful about absorbing exploding tikis because they’ll still explode on you. Advance on more boats to the open pipe to the next area. Break a wall behind you to be able to freely go to and fro from both parts of the area and to pick up all the jelly if you need to. ![]() When you make it to the other side, there will be another huge battle. Jump on the boats going into the Tunnel of Glove and prepare for more of that uneasiness we mentioned earlier. When you reach the end of the area, a fight ensues, after which you can take a slingshot to the next portion. Lots of things to destroy for jelly at the opening, but also three different carnival games to play to get doubloons. See Our Other Guides to Collect Everything In Every Level! Once the level is over, however, you’re ushered forth onto the end of the game with only a moment to take a breath, so be prepared to save Bikini Bottom once and for all (until the next calamity that, let’s face it, will also be SpongeBob or Patrick’s fault). There may not be too much to see, but there’s definitely a lot to do, including finally learning how to use the reef blower, the most powerful move in the game. Patrick’s been taken hostage and Glovey is not giving off the friendliest vibes in his dark park, which when paired with the small size of the world, produces a surprisingly unnerving atmosphere.
